- Establishment and development:
- The Faculty of Health Sciences was established on the background of the Sheikh Abdallah El Badri Health Technical College, which was approved as the first health technical college in Sudan aimed at graduating and qualifying the assistant health personnel on 26/11/2007, and was affiliated with the Technical Education Authority before the university was established and approved in 2011.
- The Health Technical College later became the nucleus of El Sheikh Abdallah El-Badri University – and like the rest of the university’s faculties, the buildings, furniture, equipment and laboratories of the Health Technical College were donated by Maulana Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri, which were brought from outside Sudan under the supervision of the then founding Dean Dr. Omar Abdallah Al-Badri (currently Professor and Director of the University) who made tremendous efforts during the early stages of establishment and throughout his career in the management of the college.
- After the establishment of the university, the name of the Health Technical College was changed to the Faculty of Science. The first batch of the Health Technical College was accepted in the academic year 2008/2009 and graduated 312 graduates in the diplomas of nursing, pharmacy, dental and medical statistics, and they are now working in various health institutions inside and outside Sudan with high efficiency reflected by the continuous praise and praise from their superiors at work.

Admission to the bachelor’s programs in the nursing and medical laboratory programs took place in the academic year 2013/2014, and the faculty graduated two batches of distinguished students in these programs with a total of 298 male and female graduates.
